As following in tradition from the previous 6 years, C-100 held it's annual Mentoring Event "Bridge to a Bright Future" during the 18th Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
Despite these tough economic times, participants came into the event eager to pick up some advice and career lessons to keep them on the right track. 150 mentees and 28 mentors attended the Saturday, May 2nd event at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The event was co-chaired by C-100 members, Nancy Yuan, Leroy Chiao and Ben Wu, who also served as the event's emcee. Prior to the start of the sessions, Iris Chan, Executive Vice President & Head of Commercial Banking of Wells Fargo gave the opening remarks. Ms. Chan's remarks were followed by C-100 member Michelle Kwan, who gave the welcoming remarks. This year's event was sponsored by Wells Fargo and the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) served as our promotional partner. Once again, we would like to thank all of our participants, mentors, sponsor and partners for making this another successful mentoring event. We look forward to seeing you next year in San Francisco!
